Count the days!

I had a stamping day with my upline and some other demo's last week. We do a shoebox swap when we get together. I always enjoy getting together with them because everyone always has such wonderful ideas. This little calendar is similar to a project that one of the girls brought. I thought it was so cute, so I had to come home and try it in a different color combination. This was my result!

I used Chocolate Chip, Not Quite Navy and Cool Carribean card stock and Not Quite Navy ink. The little calendar I got from a Vippies booth when they were at a local stamp show a few months back. The ribbon is a wonderful crushed velvet that I found at Michael's. They have some really cool new little spools of ribbon and this is one of the one's I got.
And probably the coolest part of all this is I used my free sample of Uhu glue roller that I got recently. The samples were from Maria Filosa's Uhu Project - you can check out her blog here http://www.mariafilosa.com/.
I must say I am very impressed with the Uhu glue roller. I love the feel of it as you apply it to the cardstock. My biggest challenge now is going to be finding a place to get it. I have been unable to locate it locally! I hope I can find some soon. I love it!
